BIOGRAPHY Kathy Bates

American actress and director Kathleen Doyle "Kathy" Bates was born on 28th June 1948 in the town of Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Her father worked as an engineer, his mother a housewife. In addition, Kathleen, were brought up in a family of two older daughters. From an early age the girl wanted to connect his life with film. Since childhood, parents instilled aspiring actress love of art. Baby held initial training at the prestigious school of his native city.
