BIOGRAPHY Kathy Bates
American actress and director Kathleen Doyle "Kathy" Bates was born on 28th June 1948 in the town of Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Her father worked as an engineer, his mother a housewife. In addition, Kathleen, were brought up in a family of two older daughters. From an early age the girl wanted to connect his life with film. Since childhood, parents instilled aspiring actress love of art. Baby held initial training at the prestigious school of his native city. Having received secondary education, she enrolled in an elite institution in Dallas where she attended acting classes and was actively involved in student productions. After graduating from university, Kathleen went to New York to try his hand at cinema. Very quickly the talented graduate to pay attention to figures of cinema, and was invited to a small role in the drama "Separation," which tells the story of a teenage girl ran away from home.
At the age of twenty-five Bates got a job on the stage, where he successfully played for a few years. In 1992, Bates was involved in the shooting melodrama "second wind." A year later, the actress took part in the biographical drama "Our own house", where appeared in the form of a large widow who dreams of kids to build their cozy home. In 1994, Kathy starred in the comedy film "North", which tells the fate of a teenager who is trying in various ways to reconcile his parents quarreled.
