Jim Parsons: Biography
Jim Parsons was born in the big city of Houston, which is located in Texas. His father, Milton Joseph Parsons was the owner of a private garage, and his mother Judy Ann McKnight - an elementary school teacher. Jim has a sister, Julie Ann, who walked in the footsteps of his mother and became a teacher.
Jim attended middle and high school «Klein Oak». He studied well, but was a very shy child, though, and responsive. After school, he even gave an unusual letter "the most friendly classmate." But oddly enough, the shy boy in real life was transformed when he left the stage school plays. Even in the age of 6, he played the role of birds in Cola-Cola in the children's play "The Elephant" based on the story by Rudyard Kipling and has since been assured that there will be only an actor.
After receiving the certificate of Jim Parsons he enrolled at the University of Houston in "dramatic art". He was not enough of compulsory university subjects and standard performances. So Jim and several fellow students organized a student troupe "Hell grooms" and putting 17 additional performances. After receiving a bachelor's degree in 1999, Parsons does not consider education as completed, and went to California, the University of San Diego, where he studied on a new two-year program established by the university in cooperation with the theater "Old Globe." The program was designed for the 7th best graduate students US and Jim was able to become one of them.
In 2001, Parsons moved to New York, where he played on Broadway, and actively acted in commercials. On account of his commercials such companies as «Quiznos», «FedEx Express» and «Arby's». In addition, he participated in a social charity advertising "Confrontation cancer."
Jim Parsons is an open homosexual, what he said when receiving the "Emmy". He currently resides in Los Angeles with her boyfriend Todd Spivak, who is the art director of a California studio. They have been together for more than 10 years.
The main interests in the life of an actor is playing the piano and watching on TV sports. He especially loves tennis, and tries not to miss the baseball championship matches.
